Our waiting list is the only way to get a puppy from us. Start by completing our puppy application—it's free and there's no obligation. We review every application and, if it's a good fit, we'll invite you to place a deposit. Your deposit secures your place in line, and picks are made in the order deposits are received. You can always see where you stand on our Waiting List Deposit Order page. When you apply, tell us your preferences (gender, coloring, coat type) so we know what you're waiting for.

Once a litter arrives, we'll email everyone with an active deposit and begin posting weekly photos and videos of the puppies on our website and social media. We make picks in deposit order once the puppies are old enough for us to see their temperaments and coats, usually around 6 weeks. If we don't have the right match for you in a litter, your deposit and your place in line carry over to the next one. Families who want to meet the puppies may visit after their first set of vaccines at 6 weeks, and again at pickup at 8 weeks.

A $250 non-refundable deposit holds your place in line. Deposits can be made here. Final pricing is set per litter and shared with families who place a deposit before picks are made; puppies typically start at $2,500, with select picks priced higher depending on litter size, color, and markings. Once you've chosen your puppy, we'll confirm by email and hold that puppy exclusively for you.

You can make deposits through the payments section of our website. After we match you with a puppy, we'll email you your final balance and payment options.

Your final balance (less your $250 deposit) is due 24 hours before or at the time of pickup. If you need delivery, you'll pay all delivery fees when we schedule it.

Deposits are non-refundable, but they're never lost—if we don't have a match for you in the current litter, your deposit carries over to the next. Puppies go home at 8 weeks. If a licensed veterinarian verifies that your puppy is in poor health at pickup, you'll receive a full refund.

We health-test every breeding dog before pairing, and we only breed dogs that pass. All parents have been cleared for Cataracts, Degenerative Myelopathy, and Von Willebrand Disease; results are available on request. Every puppy goes home vet-checked, current on vaccinations, and covered by a 1-year health guarantee against life-threatening congenital defects—if one is found, we'll replace your puppy free of charge. Full terms are in our contract, which we're happy to share.

Dogs are a lifelong commitment, but circumstances change. If a puppy or adult dog doesn't work out in its new home, we'll take it back until we find a new home. Exchanges are only available within the 1-year guarantee window for a verified genetic defect. When you purchase from Missouri Bernese & Bernedoodles, you commit to never placing your dog in a shelter.

We sell our puppies under a strict spay/neuter contract. We offer breeding rights to a small number of approved breeders—contact us for pricing.

We are located 45 minutes from Kansas City International Airport. If you are unable to travel to our ranch to pick up your puppy, we offer hand delivery via our flight nanny all throughout the United States. Prices vary depending on your location and the time of year. Our flight nanny brings your puppy on the plane as a carry-on (being cared for the entire time) and will meet you at your nearest airport with your puppy. At this time, we are unable to ship puppies without proper supervision (their nanny!). The cost of your puppy’s hand delivery will be determined prior to the delivery date.
